Safety & Age Policy

1. Age requirement

You must be at least 18 years of age (or the legal age of majority in your jurisdiction) to purchase any product from SlingMatic. By placing an order you confirm that you meet this requirement. We may refuse or cancel any order that we reasonably believe violates this policy.

2. Intended use

SlingMatic products are designed and sold as sporting goods for recreational target shooting. They are intended to be used only:

• At safe, designated shooting locations with a reliable backstop
• At appropriate targets — never at people, animals, vehicles, or property
• With proper eye protection for the shooter and bystanders
• By users who have read and understood the product manual

3. Know your local laws

Slingshot regulations differ significantly between countries, states, provinces, and municipalities. In some jurisdictions slingshots are restricted, require a permit, or are prohibited. It is your responsibility as the buyer to know and comply with the laws applicable to you before ordering and using our products. SlingMatic makes no representation that our products are legal in every jurisdiction.

4. Shipping & customs

We ship worldwide on a DDP basis (delivered duty paid) wherever possible — duties and taxes are included in the price you pay. If your jurisdiction restricts slingshots, customs authorities may seize or return the shipment; in that case our standard refund policy applies. See our Shipping & Delivery page for details.

5. Safe handling & maintenance

• Inspect bands, pouch, and frame before every session; replace worn bands immediately
• Never fire a slingshot with a damaged frame, cracked fork, or worn pouch
• Keep fingers and clothing clear of the band path during draw and release
• Store products unloaded and out of reach of children and unauthorized users
• Use only the ammunition type and size specified for your model

6. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, SlingMatic shall not be liable for any injury, damage, or legal consequence arising from misuse, unlawful use, modification of the product, or failure to follow the safety guidelines on this page. Our products are sold on the condition that they will be used safely and lawfully by persons of legal age.
